Approval for a replacement large family home in the countryside at Cranbrook in Kent which replaced a late 20th century chalet bungalow. To reduce the impact of a larger property a semi-basement level was created which opened out onto a sunken courtyard. Accommodation was given generous areas of glass and oriented towards open fields. A large detached garage hidden beneath an earth bund was also granted approval.
